Govt Restricts Private Hajj 2025 to 23,620 Pilgrims

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has officially announced that only 23,620 people will be allowed to perform Hajj under the Private Hajj Scheme 2025. This is much lower than Pakistan’s total Hajj quota of 179,210 pilgrims for the year, leaving many people worried and uncertain.

Thousands Left Waiting After Limited Quota Decision

This sudden decision has created concern among over 67,000 applicants who had registered through private Hajj operators. Many of them had already made travel plans, arranged finances, and even prepared their documents. Now, they are unsure if they will be able to go on the sacred journey this year.

Check Approved Operators and Application Status Online

To avoid confusion, the Ministry has uploaded a list of approved private Hajj service providers on its official website and the Pak Hajj App. Pilgrims are strongly advised to check their operator’s status and verify their application as soon as possible to avoid any last-minute surprises.

Visa Deadline and Support Camps for Pilgrims

The Ministry has reminded all applicants that April 18, 2025, is the final deadline for issuing Hajj visas. All paperwork and formalities must be completed before this date.
To support the pilgrims, temporary Hajj camps will be set up in selected cities across Pakistan. These camps will provide guidance on travel arrangements, document submission, and other Hajj-related matters.

Senate Requests PM to Increase Quota from Saudi Arabia

Due to public concern, the Senate Committee has officially requested the Prime Minister of Pakistan to talk with Saudi authorities about increasing the private Hajj quota. They are hoping to make space for more pilgrims who are ready and waiting to perform Hajj through private operators.

Pilgrims are advised to stay updated by regularly visiting the Ministry of Religious Affairs website and checking the Pak Hajj App. Any new updates or announcements regarding the Hajj 2025 scheme will be shared through these official platforms.
